COASTAL HERNANDO INITIATIVES PROGRAM (C.H.I.P.)
VISIONING WORKSHOP

The Coastal Hernando Initiatives Program (C.H.I.P.) is hosting a second Community Visioning Workshop on Monday, June 28, 2010, at 7:30 p.m. at the Coast Guard Auxiliary Building, located at 4340 Calienta St, Hernando Beach, Florida.

The C.H.I.P. was created for the purpose of creating a strategic plan to address numerous concerns affecting residents within coastal Hernando County. The C.H.I.P. group has been meeting for approximately one year and has discussed improvements such as sidewalks, roadways, drainage and overall enhancements to the community.

The June 28th meeting is open to the public and is a continuation of the visioning workshop held on April 26, 2010, in which several issues of concern were identified. Particularly, residents of the coastal areas of Hernando County are encouraged to attend and participate in the next phase of the visioning process.

In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, persons with disabilities needing a special accommodation to participate in this proceeding should contact Alice Gura, County Administration, 20 North Main Street, Room 460, Brooksville, Fl 34601, telephone 352-754-4002.
