Hernando Beach has both a volunteer fire department and a coast guard auxilliary station. Both would welcome you as members.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how many homes are in the community? Where is the nearest fuel service station? Do they offer ethanol free and diesel? How much more per gallon are they then the service station? And are most the of canals wide enough for larger boats to maneuver? Thanks in advance, MJ

Hello everyone in Hernando Beach. Happy New Year! My wife and two of our kids came down and had Captain Joel Gant of the Fish Daddy take us out around the Hernando Beach area back in September. We had just come down for the day to see the property we bought on Gardenia. He was very helpful in showing us around and he suggested dinner at "RBeach Restaurant" which we really enjoyed!! We got to meet the owner who was very friendly and the food and entertainment was excellent! We can't wait to make HB our home when we retire. Still looking for pictures of the "No Name Storm of 1993" it anyone has any, please send them to my email address: lp196179@gmail.com Please feel free to send me any other pictures of the area that you think I would like. Thanks, Larry.
